Incredibly, Jake and I have been part of the HiPP Organic Wean Team programme for nearly a year now, and it definitely feels like we’re coming to the end of our weaning journey. Although of course we still have a long way to go when it comes to discovering all the awesome stuff he hasn’t yet tried – will he love Daddy’s chicken and chorizo paella as much as his big brother?! Time will tell.
As we have come so far from those first tastes of baby rice and fruit purees to chomping away on anything they can get their hands on, HiPP asked us all on the Wean Team to reflect on our weaning experiences and here’s what we said (spot Jake and Daddy!):
Maybe it’s just me but that high chair tray covered in spaghetti bolognese makes me feel a bit queasy. I’ve never let weaning be truly messy – but maybe that’s just because I’m averse to having pasta sauce splattered all over the house. It definitely works for some though, obviously!
