Top Weaning Tips from the HiPP Organic Wean Team

Incredibly, Jake and I have been part of the HiPP Organic Wean Team programme for nearly a year now, and it definitely feels like we’re coming to the end of our weaning journey. Although of course we still have a long way to go when it comes to discovering all the awesome stuff he hasn’t yet tried – will he love Daddy’s chicken and chorizo paella as much as his big brother?! Time will tell.

As we have come so far from those first tastes of baby rice and fruit purees to chomping away on anything they can get their hands on, HiPP asked us all on the Wean Team to reflect on our weaning experiences and here’s what we said (spot Jake and Daddy!):

Maybe it’s just me but that high chair tray covered in spaghetti bolognese makes me feel a bit queasy. I’ve never let weaning be truly messy – but maybe that’s just because I’m averse to having pasta sauce splattered all over the house. It definitely works for some though, obviously!

It’s been really lovely working with HiPP, and I’ve continually been impressed by their products that we’ve tried. They have the biggest assortment of baby food, with more than 140 products including milks, cereals, pouches, tray meals and jars, covering every stage of baby’s development. You can view the whole range on the HiPP website.

As the experts in organic baby food, HiPP knows the importance of eating tasty, wholesome food, using only the very finest ingredients full of nutritious goodness. HiPP has some useful tips to help you if you are weaning your little one.

If you’re in the first four weeks of weaning, this handy guide could also help you out.

Jake’s so confident in eating now, he’s even perusing the menu for himself!
